Condition
Framed: 21 x 25 x 3 inches.Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; network of craquelures throughout the surface; with several more prominent craquelures through the upper edge of the sky, as well as one crack in the center left, accompanied by pinpoint paint losses; pinpoint white spots in the upper right corner present as paint losses but appear to be white paint under magnification; frame abrasions and rubbing along all edges; faint brown liquid stains in the upper left corner; under a discolored varnish. Under UV light; a horizontal line of inpainting extending through the upper left corner; several vertical lines of inpainting through the upper right corner and center of the sky, above the church roof; the aforementioned liquid stains in the upper left corner fluoresce, as does one liquid droplet in the center left.
